At Deep River Veterinary Hospital, PC, we use X-rays quite often to help us diagnose diseases and other health problems in your pet. X-rays are also used to rule things out. Finally, X-rays may be taken during an annual physical exam in order to check for potential problems before they become too serious.
X-rays can help diagnose issues in the bones, GI tract, respiratory system, heart, and bladder. Please keep in mind that more excitable pets may need to be sedated for an X-ray so it can be done properly.
